Leela Charitable Trust was started in the Memory of Late Mrs. K.Leela, who was a prominent Musician and Composer of Poems in Tamil and Sanskrit. Leela Charitable Trust was registered in the Sub registrar office with Registration no: 1089/2012 On 7th of December 2012.

Our trust has been registered as Public Charitable trust u/s 12AA of the Income Tax Act, 1961 with effect from 19.12.2012.

All donations given to Leela Charitable Trust are exempt under section 80 (G) of INCOME Tax Act 1961 vide Or No. DIT (E) No.2 (694)12-13

The Benefits of Leela Charitable Trust shall be available to all persons of the society irrespective of their caste, creed, Community, Sex and Religion.

Our  Activities
We do activities by working hand in hand with a professional program team with a group of dedicative volunteers and also with some of the existing “on the ground” organizations, including other Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) other groups and individuals.
